The Eavesdropper is a light-hearted sociological experiment based around fragments of conversations heard in passing.

Passing strangers – whether in the street, in the workplace, or in clubs or bars – and overhearing dislocated sentences or phrases can be far more interesting than listening in on the entire conversation. Pulling those words and phrases out of context can lend them new meanings: whether purely comedic, momentarily thought-provoking or as a form of political commentary.

All the fragments so far posted can be found on the Eavesdroppery page.

Ways in which you can contribute to the project can be found on the Contribute page.
